Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is one of the world’s oldest healthcare systems, known as “The Science of Life, “Ayurveda is a traditional system with a time honored medicine that helps in healing and balancing the body, mind, and spirit”. It uses natural remedies, lifestyle transformation, and spiritual practices to treat various health conditions.
The goal of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is to prepare students with knowledge about holistic techniques and natural methods so that they can apply principles of Ayurveda to cure disease naturally.
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is a 4.5-year + 1 year rotatory internship undergraduate program, and the mode of this course is full-time with all the facilities like:
- Infrastructure: modern classrooms, laboratories, and libraries.
- Ayurvedic Hospital: clinical facilities and hands-on experience
- Pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology labs: students prepare Ayurvedic medicine and study human anatomy and physiology.
- Yoga and Meditation Hall: A free space for yoga and meditation.

This program covers various subjects like anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, basic principles of Ayurveda, modern anatomy, ENT, skin, gynecology, internal medicine, principles of surgery, Ayurvedic pharmaceutical science, obstetrics, pediatrics, and history or Ayurvedic system.

Eligibility Criteria:
As per our university guidelines, eligibility criteria for a bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery need a 50% aggregate score in PCB.
To enroll in the BAMS course, candidates must have passed with 10+2 with good grades from a recognized board.
PCB stands for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; students must have studied these subjects in class 12th as they are core subjects for the medical stream.
Candidates must also have passed NEET-UG (entrance exam) for BAMS course admission, as our university only accepts NEET (the primary national-level entrance exam) passed students for this course.
