    ALL INDIA UNIVERSITY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 from 24^th to 26^th March 2025

Note: Speed Skating:

1. From each University, a male or female skater can take part in a maximum 3 out of 4 Speed Skating races with not more than 2 skaters taking part in each race from each University.

2.Track Race:(i)500 m +D The distance of race is 2.5 laps (500m) plus the Distance resulting to the middle of the straightaway, thus the start line will be in the middle of the straightway.

3.Track Race: (ii) 1000m sprint race  It is a speed tournament with a maximum of 3 rounds. Only the winners of the heat accede directly to the next round. The others skaters are qualified according to the best times in the heats. The final is run, by the winner of each semi-final and the best looser times, for a total of eight skaters.

4.Track: (iii) 5000 Meters Points  This race is a points races. It consists of assigning points to the first two (2) skaters at certain laps. The winner of this race will be the one who, having run the whole course, has accumulated the greatest score.

5.Track: (iv) 10000 Meters Elimination Race This race consists of eliminating the last skater or the last skaters at certain laps. The winners are the skaters of the last lap first, second & third position holders.

6. Racing Suit: All skaters of the same University must wear the same uniform with long or short sleeves with the University Colour.
7. Helmet: The helmet must be well fastened on the head. A. skater who removes his/her helmet before the end of the race shall be disqualified.
8. Skates: 1. Skates having a maximum of five (5) wheels, fastened in line, or skates with two pairs of wheels fastened parallel to each other are permitted. The skate must not exceed fifty (50) centimetres in length. Skates must be firmly attached to the shoes and axles are not to protrude from the wheels. Brakes are forbidden.
9. The maximum diameter of wheel must not exceed hundred and ten (110) millimeters.

10. General Rules:

(i) Skaters must bring wheels suitable for use on all types of floors, including Asphalt, Asphalt Coated, Cement, Kota Stone, Kadapa Stone, Tandur Stone, Mosaic, Tarmac, Wooden, and other road surfaces.

(ii) All rules and regulations of RSFI (Roller Skating Federation of India) shall be applicable.
