A BTech in computer science is a 4 year undergraduate program in which students focus on computer systems, software development and data analysis in this course. 

It covers various topics like programming languages like ( C, C++, Java, python) , data structures , algorithms,  data management, operating systems , web development, artificial intelligence, cyber security and many more . With such a wide range of variety of topics enables students to have strong programming skills like understanding of computer systems, software and hardware developments, and technologies like AI, ML, and IoT.

Students in computer science engineering specially focus on two core subjects like Mathematics and Programming and Algorithms.

This course covers both theoretical and practical skills to equip students for communication, team work, problem solving and analytical skills in industry. With this course students develop their knowledge with many more skills like coding skills, logical thinking, reasoning and etc.

This 4 year course is divided into eight semesters in which students learn about:

1. Networking Fundamentals
2. Data analysis and visualization tools like (Tableau, power BI)
3. Web technologies like (HTML, CSS , JavaScript and more)
4. Mobile app development
5. Cyber security threats

There are many more technologies, software and skills which students learn and explore in this full time course with regular classes, projects, research, and real time experience in their internships. They also explore emerging technologies like Block chain, Internet of Things, 5G Networks and more.

Eligibility Criteria: 

As per our university guidelines, eligibility criteria for Bachelor’s in computer science engineering needs 50% in PCM.  

PCM is a crucial part of the science stream so it is essential for our eligibility criteria for BTech in computer science, it includes:

10+2 class passing certificate: students must have passed with good grades from recognized board.

PCM stands for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Students must have studied these subjects in class 12 as this is core subjects for science stream.
