DMLT

DMLT stands for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and this is a two-year diploma course, which aims at producing a professional laboratory technologist. Throughout this course, students learn about the handling of laboratory equipment, sample collection, sample analysis and testing for diseases. Graduates of DMLT play a very important role in the health care delivery team usually involving diagnosing patients, cooperating with doctors and other health care givers.

Phlebotomists play an important role in collecting quality samples for analysis, often working in hospitals, diagnostic labs, and blood donation centers.

  • Medical Lab Assistant
